No. Wellness coaching is not medical care and does not diagnose, treat, or cure disease. Instead, it complements your healthcare by helping you build sustainable nutrition, lifestyle, and wellness habits while identifying areas that may be contributing to your symptoms. You should always continue working with your physician or healthcare provider for medical concerns.

Traditional healthcare often focuses on diagnosing and treating illness, while functional wellness takes a whole-person approach by exploring how nutrition, lifestyle, stress, sleep, gut health, and other factors may be contributing to symptoms. Functional wellness coaching works alongside—not in place of—your medical care to help support overall health and well-being.

However, some Health Savings Accounts (HSAs) or Flexible Spending Accounts (FSAs) may cover certain services depending on your plan.
